If any RS travelers have taken this tour, does the bus go along the Loire Valley between Amboise Chateaux and Tours so that you can see La Cave Restaurant built into the tufa along the Loire Valley? Does the tour go to La Cave Restaurant for dinner while staying in Chinon? Just asking. Was there many years ago and it is amazing to be in a cave eating dinner.

I don’t recall that but it’s been 5 years. We dined here on our own http://www.loceanic-chinon.com and had an excellent meal. In Sarlat we had a great meal here http://www.legrandbleu.eu. Neither place was inexpensive as I recall.

We were on this amazing tour 5 years ago and I don't recall La Cave. I do recall having a group dinner in Chinon but don't recall the name. What I do remember was our memorable dinner in Carcassonne. We had the best Cassoulet ever at Maison du Cassoulet.
