Lactose Intolerance in Italy

Hello All~

Going to Italy in a few weeks. I happen to be lactose intolerant. Bummer, I know. It's going to be a challenge and bringing lots of lactaid pills. However, my question is: is there any possibility that I can get a non dairy alternative in Rome with my cappuccino (before 11am, I know!)? Will they have soy, almond, coconut milk, etc? If not I can just be prepared to order without milk, or get a small container at a store when I get there. BUT, I would rather be able to order my cappuccino, non diary if possible. Please advise if you have any experience with this. Thank you!

I just returned from a month in Italy and most places I was able to get soy milk for my cappuccino. While I was selective on what I ordered, I was not lacking in choices.
