My husband and I will be travelling to England at the beginning of July and we are interested in finding restaurants or cafes that serve gluten-free afternoon tea and/or other gluten-free food. We are staying in Bath, Moreton-in-Marsh (where we have found one gf tea room), Oxford, and London. We would appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance.
It is the fad of the moment in the UK, both for people who have wheat or gluten allergies or coeliac, and for people following the diet of the moment, so virtually all tearooms will have lots of gluten free. It is harder to find a place that doesn't.
At many of the places the "cakes" are also sugar free.
Thank you, Nigel. That is just great to hear!
I have been researching online for GF afternoon tea options for our upcoming trip to London and found one at Kensington Palace (among others in London).
That looks incredible, Mardan. Thank you very much!
I'm vegan not GF but had delicious food at The Green Rocket Cafe in Bath. Many of their menu items are GF.
Thanks for this, Pam. I really appreciate it :)
