Eating Europe has a 25% off sale. Besides the food tours it includes gift certificates.
We did a tour in Rome and few years ago. There’s Julia Child Paris tour I’m interested in.

We took advantage of their Black Friday sale a couple of years ago. You don't have to sign up for a specific tour yet, just get gift cards, then give them to yourself! That's what we did. We booked a food tour in Rome, using our gift card, for May of 2020..... So of course, we couldn't go, but Eating Europe said the credit voucher they were issuing us never expires. Wow.
We're trying again next year, so I think I'll buy another gift card. Gotta support companies like this.
Thanks Jane. Gift Certificate it is so I don’t have to worry about itinerary changes.
Has anybody done one of their tours ?
Kim, Sister-in-Law and I did their Rome Jewish Quarter tour in 2019. We really enjoyed it. Knowledgable guide. Small group with nice people. Interesting choices of food from appetizers to dessert.
I just bought a gift card for my 2022 trip. Plan is the Paris Julia Child tour and maybe a London tour.
If you purchase, be sure to put in code Holiday2021 or the site won’t recognize the sale.
Cool, thank you for the recommendation and the sale info !
I just tried buying a gift card and it didn’t recognize the promo code. If someone has success with the promo code I hope you can let us know. Thanks.
Andrea, above the total button there is what kind of looks like a link. Click on that. I used lowercase and no spaces. And it worked.
Something to be aware of:
I bought a $200 gift card. So 25% off is $150. But my VISA card was charged $169.16. When I emailed Eating Europe for an explanation they responded saying it was converted to €. If it was noted in the description I missed it and still can’t find it. I’m in the US and the website is in US$. Did anyone notice this?
I just went the site and everything is listed in €. $ not found! But thanks for the sale info. Gives me something to look forward to in Paris!!!
Phillip, I just checked too. € in Paris, £ in London. Gift card now in €.
One can also check locally, Many towns are organizing their own seasonal culinary events this year. Some are tours on buses, some are ticket books redeemable at local eateries.
Horsewoofie, I used all caps for the promo code. I’ll try it using just lower case and see how it works.
Success! The strange thing is that this time it automatically applied the promo code.
