I spent many wonderful layovers in Barcelona as an airline pilot. My go to places were usually Siete Portes and Los Caracoles. I'm taking my wife for our 50th wedding anniverssary in June and have made reservsations for dinner at Siete Portes. What other restaurants should I consider while we're there. Thanks.
Happy 50th Anniversary!
My husband, adult son and I had lunch at Terra Mia which is just a bit outside Barcelona. We walked there from our flat near Sagrada Familia. It is close to Parc Guell which we walked to from Terra Mia. It was such a nice change from tapas. We sat outside in the wonderful January weather. I don't know what inside seating was like. The food was wonderful with copious amounts and artfully presented.
Teresa Carles was our favourite restaurant in Barcelona. We aren't even vegetarian, but we ate there twice because the food was so good.
Our favorite restaurant in Barcelona last summer was La Palmera in the Eixample area. Amazing food, service, ambiance...we would have gone back to eat again if we had stayed longer.
I'd recommend checking out Tickets Bar by Ferran Adrià for a unique and innovative culinary experience.
Also interested to see if anyone has done the Los Caricoles tour and set menu? Thanks
