Bayeux

I am taking the train to bayeux from there to see the DDay sights returning to Paris on the 630 pm train. I understand that there is no food/wine on train. Does anyone know where I can by snacks and wine close to bayeux station?

There's a Carrefour near the tourist information office (just beyond the tapestrie museum) - about a 10 minute walk from the train station.
That's assuming there isn't a kiosk inside the train station itself, which you can check upon your arrival in the morning.

Edited to add: out of curiosity I checked the website and apparently all they have are vending machines inside the small station..
Also, we parked nearby a few times on our own recently completed trip and I don't recall seeing any shops in the immediate area that would answer for you.
FWIW, we used Uber a couple of times to get around the town - a cheap option that worked well for us. Might save you the 1000 meter walk to the aforementioned Carrefour.

You'll probably use the Gare Sainte-Lazare station in Paris. If you don't mind buying things in advance, the station is filled with shops to buy food and drink.

On the Bayeux end, there were plenty of shops down the street from the train station.

In 2012, I took this exact trip for the same purpose: seeing the D-Day sights. However, I stayed a two nights in Bayeux.
