My husband and I will be joining the Paris and Heart of France tour in October. We are celebrating our anniversary when we are in Amboise and there is no group dinner that night. I was hoping to reserve a table but and finding, because it is a Sunday, that many of the restaurants are not open. Does anyone happen to have a suggestion for dinner in Amboise on a Sunday?

Restaurant Anne de Bretagne should be open. The tastiest French onion soup I’ve had was at this restaurant.

You may consider Les Arpents for modern French cuisine in a cozy setting, Chez Bruno for a friendly atmosphere with delicious French dishes, or Le Lion d'Or for classic French cuisine in a charming former coaching inn.

if you look at France With Vero's youtube channel there are a couple of installments from Amboise that have some dining recs. Do you know if she is going to be the tour leader on your trip?

Avirosemail thank you for your reply, I will take a look. The issue is not the lack of restaurant recommendations there are a few I wanted to try. The issue is most are not open on a Sunday. But I haven't watched this video yet so maybe she'll have something new! I am not sure who the guide is yet, I'll find out next month. We're excited to return to Paris and tour more of France!
