We are flying from Canada to London Heathrow in April but will only be in the UK for 2 days at the beginning of holiday and another 2 days at end and remaining approx 28 days we will be in Europe (France, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland).
Is there a SIM card that will cover all these countries?
Should we get SIM cards through Amazon before we travel to have one less thing to worry about on arrival?
Mobile phones and SIM cards are often discussed in the "Technology Tips" forum: https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/tech-tips. You may get more replies over there.

I'd be wary of ordering SIM cards from Amazon unless I had reason to be extremely confident in the seller. Just my 2 cents; YMMV.
Thank you for your suggestions. I’m new to this site and just trying to sort things out.
Much appreciated.
Happy to help! Hope you get it figured out.
EE still covers EU roaming on their pay as you go plans. Very easy to stop by one of their shops and get set up. They’re not the cheapest service provider but much cheaper than overpriced US roaming. I used them for my last trip to Scotland and London and service was good. I have no experience with roaming on them to the EU but have no reason to think it would be problematic.
https://shop.ee.co.uk/plans-and-packs/pay-as-you-go-packs scroll down to using my allowances abroad to find a list of countries that have free roaming.
Plans as low as £10 or about $12 US and $16 CAD if I did the conversion correctly.
Holy!!! You are right that UK pricing is better than Canada and I guess USA too.
Thank you for the links you provided.
Happy to help out. If you go to the EE website there’s a store finder function at the top. It allows you to find shops that are convenient to where you’ll be. I went to the one near the Covent Garden tube stop. Super easy. In and out in 20 minutes.
Have a great trip!
Edit. The plans are valid for 30 days. You may want to time the start strategically so that you only need one period. Otherwise add enough funds to cover a new one
