Mom always asks to sleep in a Castle. We did twice in France and hope to find some on our English journey.
Can you recommend any you have stayed at?
Curious about where people have stayed.

Oh I know it's just we are sleeping in Chippen Camden one night and the next night in Conwy so it falls on our route but not at a time of day that would be good to stop. It is super pretty though. Mom wants to add 3-4 more days to the trip.....She is going to bankrupt me. LOL

Emma, plotted Ruthin again in Google maps, maybe we could stay there and day trip into Conwy.....looking into it. Maybe it's doable. Thanks.
Mom said she hopes that whichever one we end up in has a ghost. Now I don't want that LOL.

Jane I had completely forgotten I had even posted this and had not seen the answers till late last night.

Looks like we are going to try Lumley Castle that was suggested in another thread and here on this one but I will keep looking into all those mentioned cause we might want to stay in 2 or 3.....
