palace memberships

Hi,
When visiting London in may with the family I have booked in for Ceremony of the Keys and will visit Tower of London during the day for a tour. Also looking at heading to Hampton Court Palace one of the days. Am I right that it is cheaper to pay for the membership than each palace separately? It looks like Hampton court is 43 pounds and Tower of London 57 pounds. Membership is 90 pounds. Does that sound right or am I reading it wrong? Thanks in advance.

There was a thread on this recently, about the Historic Royal Palaces membership. Depending on how many of you there are, their ages, and when you go, you might find a membership to be more cost-effective than just paying admission, although you may also want to consider the 2-4-1 offers (if valid for your dates and party).

My husband and I purchased an HRP membership for our trip to London last fall and did use it for the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace. I believe you also receive a slight discount in the gift shops and cafes. It worked for us and we will purchase another membership for our next trip.

I purchased the membership and it paid off for my family in two visits to the Tower of London and one day at Hampton Court. It was definitely worthwhile.
