My wife and I are planning on taking a train from London to Moreton-in-Marsh for a day tour of up to 8 hours of the Cotswolds. Can anyone recommend a tour company or guide offering train station pickup and the specific tour taken with towns, sights and experiences not to be missed?
In 2022 I took the Go Cotswolds all day tour. I had a great day and felt it was a good overview of the lovely villages. I especially enjoyed the short stop in Bibury as I had always wanted to see that row of cottages that you see in all the post cards. The driver was very nice and the van was comfortable. They pick up from the train station in Moreton-in --Marsh.
Another recommendation here for GoCotswolds tours.
We have taken their tours several times and always had a good experience.
By small van, they have two different tours; "Cotswolds In A Day" and "Secret Cotswolds".
The tours visit different villages.
They have one walking tour, with more hiking included; "Cotswolds Walks And Villages".
Check out their website, here, for details, and to make a reservation.
