London Connection: Case is ongoing

Dear Forum members,

I just received an email from an investigator working with the Department of Consumer Protection in Utah regarding the London Connection dissolution many of us were affected by in 2020. Apparently, they are still investigating the company and asked whether or not we had received a refund either from LC or from our credit card company.

Has anyone else been contacted? I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the investigation is ongoing.

I never heard back from them. I figured maybe because I'm Canadian that they couldn't do anything on my behalf. I got my money back through my credit card a month after I logged a grievance.

That's good to know, Julie. I'm sorry that everybody involved has had to wait so long for not a lot of result. The wheels seem to grind ever so slowly, but they do grind. Good news.

I did not hear anything back from London Connection, but I did receive a refund from my credit card (Mastercard) - I used the original booking receipt, the email from them that they were dissolving, and they themselves could see that there was no money refunded from LC. I'm glad they are investigating, as to me that was very, very shady and there should be some consequences to those involved.
