Guided Walking tour companys

We loved every minute of our guided walking tour last year with Cotswolds Walks.
We loved everything about them especially the fact they are a small local company. I am having a hard time finding guided tour company's in other parts of England or Wales.
Pretty open to local, Devon, Dorset, Cornwall, Norfolk, York, Lake district.
Anyone have experience with a small local guided walking tour company they can recommend ?

In the Lake District (and bordering onto the Yorkshire Dales) two less well known guided walking programmes for day walks (both are genuinely free- the LDNP is paid for by local taxpayers and the government)-
Lake District National Park- https://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/things-to-do/walking/routes-and-maps/guided-walks
Friends of Dalesrail-https://friendsofdalesrail.org/walks.html

The LDNP especially is good in that it takes you to many of the less well known parts of the National Park

I've just returned from a week's walking holiday. Was with HF holidays and based in one of their country house hotels. Highly recommended. They do one week stays (Friday to Friday), or 3 nights (over the weekend) or 4 night stays (during the week).

This is my third time with them. This time was at their location just outside Whitby. Loved Whitby. I went a couple of days early and stayed for 2 nights in Whitby itself. Getting to Whitby by public transport is a pain, so other venues may work better if you don't have a car..

I have also been to HF locations in Malham (Yorkshire) and Church Stretton (Shropshire).

All meals are included, and you get a packed lunch.

Just to add on to Katy's recommendation, there have been a number of recommendations here for HF holidays. As Katy noted, they offer both accommodations and guided walking tours, and you can tailor them to fit your level of comfort.

Here are a couple of forum posts about that, and you can always find more by doing a search for HF holidays in the search box.

This idea is a little random but...We also loved Cotswolds Walks. I have actually contacted them several times since we took the tour with questions and they have always been extremely helpful. I'd be tempted to ask them if they recommend any similar companies in other parts of the UK.

Another enthusiastic vote for HF Holidays. It's not small and local but it is a cooperative and it's been around for over 100 years so they know what they are doing. I've been to about half of the country houses and have done a few of their international holidays. The Cornwall house is in St Ives which can be reached by train, and it offers spectacular coastal walks. I also highly recommend Exmoor and the HF Holidays out of Selworthy. There are coastal walks along the Bristol channel as well as moorland walks with Exmoor ponies grazing.

Thank you, I did think to ask the folks at Cotswold’s walks.
I am looking for 5-7 trip not just a guided tour for the day.
