Gift for England relatives?

I will be travelling to England from Canada and will be staying for a few days with some relatives in Sussex and in some relatives in Tyne and Wear.

Any suggestions for a small gift that we can bring that they might like/enjoy?

Thank you!!

Well, there are always maple syrup products or smoked salmon, but taking responsibility for a meal while there is always a nice touch.

You could always provide an after the visit gift.

Take a picture with your relatives. Print it out, frame it and send it to them with a thank you note.

We don't know your relatives and what they'd appreciate.

I would suggest not bringing anything unless any of them are keen ice hockey fans and a particular team jersey might be appreciated.

We have plenty of Canadian maple syrup here and plentiful amounts of excellent smoked salmon so neither would be an unusual gift.

Treat them whilst you're here.

I have a standard hostess gift that seems strange until I hear that they LOVED IT. William-Sonoma offers THE best dish (or tea towels) towels ever. They are seriously life-changing, lightweight, easy to carry and a great conversation starter.
