Hi,
I land at Gatwick at 6am on a Tues Oct 9th. with 4 others need to get to Euston station then to our hotel Travelodge City London 20 Middlesex Street. I did like Rick mentions in his back door book to use google maps. And I'm still confused with the passes flex and point to point. What is the best pass for us to get from airport to Euston to hotel 2 days in London (3 from my party will be going to the O2 arena) and then from hotel to St Pancras on our 3rd day to get into Paris. Do I need to purchase before I leave the US or can I purchase at Airport. I have to wait will 11am at Euston for a friend then we will all go to hotel. Thanks a million I'm so overwhelmed :(
To get 5 people from LGW to your hotel you may want to consider something like this.
Has anything changed since this thread here? (I land at Gatwick at 6am on a Tues. with 4 others need to get to Travelodge City London 20 Middlesex Street), posted in August?
Is there a particular reason to go to Euston enroute?
Yes I have to go to Euston 1st then hotel
Are you doing something at Euston on the way to your hotel from the airport because Euston is nowhere near your hotel near Aldgate or Aldgate East?
Do you want Euston railway station or Euston Underground station? What part - I used to work there?
And all 5 of you are going there?
I'd suggest Thameslink to St Pancras, walk down the Euston Road to Euston, then Circle from Euston Square to Aldgate / Aldgate East. Do it all on Oyster / contactless.
My daughter's friend will be going from lime liverpool station to euston not sure which euston or what the difference is... we will get her and then go to hotel we can't check in till 12 and they do not hold our bags. so figure we will just pass time around there and store our bags at the station... Unless other wise advised of something better... We can just go straight to hotel area and have her meet us at hotel but that would mean drag along the luggage.. thx again
Are you sure that the hotel won't hold your bags. In your other thread it was noted that while most Travelodges do not offer that service the Travelodge London City does.
Have you checked?
