I have to pare down my choices. Should I go to Padstow or St Agnes? Should I go to Mevagissey or St. Mawes? Is Charlestown worth a visit if I am already seeing the tall ship festival in Greenwich? I've just realized I have too much packed into my days and have to make some cuts. Thanks for any input to help me decide.
I really LOVED Padstow - and the Cornish Pasties there are great.
I stayed over night at at small hotel right on the harbor.
Haven't been to St. Agnes, but I was disappointed in Padstow because everyone said it was so great. I actually liked Newquay better. ; ) I have been to Mevagissey, which is nice but I preferred Fowey. You can ride a boat between the two towns. Didn't get to St. Mawes (as I was taking another boat up to visit Trelissick Garden) but it looked lovely -- has a castle and it's an easy boat ride from Falmouth.

Thank you for the suggestions. We are 1 night in Tintagel, 4 nights in Marazion, and 3 nights near Totnes. I thought it would be plenty of time, but the more research I do, the more I want to see so I have had to make some cuts and changes to which villages to see. Trying to eliminate ones that are a lot the same, thus the questions about Padstow, St Agnes, Mevagissey and St. Mawes. It is especial hard on the day we drive from Marazion to Totnes. So many cute places to stop and explore...we will never have time to see them all, that's for sure. We have booked into cottage rentals so our timetable is set and can't be changed. Ah well...another trip perhaps.
Thanks, all!
