Prague for 4 days

Hi, BG. I think your plan for Prague looks good. I spent 8 days in Prague last fall. On the first day, I combined Rick's Old Town/Charles Bridge + Wenceslas Square walking tours from the guide with some more off-the-beaten-path spots featured in this Honest Guide video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgNK3ntJQ8Y (which also has some things on the other side of the Charles Bridge to see). If you haven't found the Honest Guide on YouTube, he and his cameraman are independent journalists who make great travel videos related to Prague and a lot of scammer videos related to Prague. The travel videos are great; the scam videos are repetitive and not worth watching. The Kolacherie from the video... definitely worth a stop for good coffee and for the Czech sweet kolač.

The Municipal House near the Powder Tower is spectacular -- an Art Nouveau wonder. If you have time and have interest in architecture, I definitely recommend the tour. The Municipal House restaurant provided one of my favorite meals of the trip -- as much for the Art Nouveau setting as for the food. If you like classical music, check out the program of performances in the building's very cool performance hall. The Rudolfinum is another spectacular place to see a classical music performance.

A Prague food tour is a nice experience, too, though a little pricey. I did 3 food tours. The best was Prague Food Tour's Delicious Food Tour. Exceptional guides who tell about the city as they tell about its food.

Reduta Jazz Club is iconic.
There are medieval dinners, cabaret shows etc.
Countless church concerts... St Giles for ex.

You only need a 1 hr river cruise

Visit iconic Imperial Cafe, Cafe Louvre, Cafe Slavia

No mention of WWII, Dancing House,
Kafka Head, Clementinum library etc..

Visit the castle at night..grounds open til 10 pm. Magical...no one is there!
