Any idea on possible moravian one day trips with an emphasis on wine?
the wife and I like food and history and have already booked the eating prague tour for in town so was thinking abut a wine trip for a day if possible.
any help is greatly appreciated :)
Look at the answers to 9 days in Prague. You will find some answers to your question. South Moravia is about three plus hours from Prague. Theoretically doable in one day but I would strongly recommend overnight, let's say in Mikulov. White south-moravian wine is excellent. But if you don't go overnight then Melnik is much more suitable, less than hour from Prague. It's also in wine making region alas smaller than south-moravian one.

if you don't get a day trip organised you may want to visit this place.They do wine tastings as well.Been a few years since I was last in there but lovely place and the wine is pretty good.
