Has anyone used Mikes Chauffeur Service in Prague? Were they reliable and worth the extra expense for travel between Munich and/or Vienna? Thanks.
This past July we used ckshuttle.cz to go from Prague to Cesky Krumlov with a 3 hour stop in Kutna Hora, then again to go to Vienna. they were on time, clean cars, nicely dressed, polite and very professional. the two drivers we had both spoke English. I had emailed Mike's first (2x) but they did not get back to me till the day before we were traveling. Ckshuttle got back to me immediately each time I emailed. I would definitely recommend them. also very good and less expensive is Student Agency bus. We used them from Bratislava to Budapest at 9€ per person. Great service, clean bus, wifi, and a stewardess on board who sold inexpensive snacks and was there to help.
I have no experience with the chauffeur service. Would you choose them for the purpose of making extra stops along the way? From Prague to Munich or Vienna, public transport runs easily between city centers, so that would be my first choice. Prague-Vienna direct train takes 4 hours, Prague-Munich direct train takes 6 hours or direct bus 5 hours. You have the train schedule and ticket-buying links on your earlier message.
We used Mike the Chauffer to pick us up in Karlovy Vary and take us to Prague. Our driver was prompt and very nice. The car was clean and nice and the driver was an excellent driver. We would highly recommend them.
