Trust Rick's recommendation -- we stayed at Raic apartments (#2) with Ivana and could not have been more pleased. Modern, updated aparment in the heart of it all and she is a knowledgeable charmer! Best decision of the week - hired Pero, as recommended by Rick, and had the ultimate day trip to Montengro and the Bay of Kotor with an absolute unbeatable history of the 1990s war and subsequent aftereffects as we made our way into Old Town Kotor and incredible scenery in the Bay of Kotor.

Absolutely the most memorable day - history, politics and geography of the area including discussions (we pursued) of the breakup of Yugoslavia and the 90s war involving Serbia and Croatia. Montenegro is quite lovely - mind the cats of Kotor. Petar is a terrific guide. Well worth it.
