We are looking to spend a few days in the Old Town, exploring the city and making day trips. Any experience and/or advice on staying at either the Stari Grad or Pucic??

We have passed by the Pučić Palace so many times I can’t even remember. It is out of my price range but I keep telling my husband maybe one day on one of our future trips. The location is fabulous and it looks wonderful. To be honest, in all our walks around the old city, we have never once noticed the Stari Grad hotel. A FYI, the Hilton is just steps outside the Pile Gate and would be another great choice in that price range. We never stayed there but we have been inside.
