As we are nearing our [hopeful] flights, British Airways site references a IATA pass. I'm a little concerned about putting our passport #'s and other identifying info into another site. Maybe I'm getting brain dead, but I don't remember IATA being discussed here recently.
What do you experienced and knowledgeable travelers know about this?
Thanks so much and safe travels!
You don't need it.
IATA is the granddaddy of orgs, they regulate haz, etc., the bulk of air carriers are part of IATA. Totally legit, i'm haz qualified under IATA regs.
is BA requiring the IATA health pass?
BA is encouraging, by invitation-only, travelers to specific airports.
