What is the deal with France and the Green Pass for vaccinated US citizens? How/when to get it?

I saw another recent post on a related topic. I too have searched, including on the French consulate's website and am confused. Has any vaccinated and boosted person been to France in the last few weeks that can give direction about what vaccinated and boosted US citizens must do upon arriving in France with respect to getting the Green Pass? There also looks like there is an attestation form that must be completed, but I can only find it in French?? I would appreciate any guidance very much! We're coming to Paris from London via train (Eurostar), and I'd like to get this green pass (if it's really needed) as efficiently as possible. We'll do whatevere we're supposed to do, but I just don't know where, what, when, how, etc. Thanks so much!

Put your citizenship (US) and trip details into the fields on this site (from United Kingdom to France), enter the dates of your travel, then click on the various links which come up to get the information you're looking for.

France's vaccine pass is not referred to as a green pass, and in fact the use of vaccine passes for nearly all purposes domestically (barring some health/medical settings) is being discontinued today (March 14) in France -- there's therefore no need for visitors to get the pass, unless regulations change.

(Note that visitors from "orange" countries, including the US and the UK, are still required to be vaccinated to enter France, but a French vaccine pass has never been necessary for border purposes, especially since currently the only way to get a pass from French authorities is by doing it at a pharmacy in-country.)

The pass sanitaire is no longer required in France as of today (unless you are visiting someone in the hospital or nursing home).

France has reclassified the U.S. as a green country.

There is no longer an attestation to be filled out for entry.

Thank you. We're going in May. I saw that France requires you to go to a pharmacy, show your CDC vaccination card (which we have zero problem doing, we're vaccinated and boosted), and then we'll get some kind of pass? You may not need it to get into France, but I believe you need it to get into restaurants, museums, etc., so I believe we will need it. Also, I believe their is an attestation form we're supposed to complete, but i can only find it in French? Maybe these rules will be gone in the a couple months, but I of course must plan, in case they aren't. Any additional clarification on this would be appreciated. Thank you!

Kim just clarified for you that this is no longer required. I am not sure what more anyone can do.

The English language attestation form can still be found on the French ministry of the interior website, but it is only required for "orange" countries. As others mentioned, the U.S. is a "green" country for now, so the form isn't required.

For future reference, to get the form you can go to this website and select the "Orange area" tab. Click the "You wish to enter Metropolitan France" link and it will display all the information and documents needed to enter. Under "Health control measures" you can download the "Sworn statement - orange area" form.

THE PASS TO GET INTO RESTAURANTS, MUSEUMS, ETC IS NO LONGER REQUIRED.

THE ATTESTATION FOR ENTRY IS NO LONGER REQUIRED EITHER.

THE RULES ON THESE LITERALLY “WENT AWAY” YESTERDAY.
