Verifly App

BA is hounding us with emails on completing the info on this app before returning to US Wednesday from CDG>LHR>LAX yet the app seems difficult and clunky. Only lets me put in info from CDG> LHR even though that’s just transit for us. Anyone else have any experience with the app?

LHR is your point of entry to the US and where you will go through passport control. Info beyond that point is not needed.

Yes 2 separate trips. If you use the app, boarding is a lot smoother than if you try to produce the documents it requests.

Glad you all had luck, we couldn’t get it to take the French Negative antigen test document info. It wanted us to photograph the test and we tried the QR codes, the doc itself, our names/dob. It would only allow 1 photo to upload and the French pharmacy gave us a 8x11 printed document so couldn’t fit things in one photo. Kept rejecting the whole application.

We do have the NEGATIVE test results for antigen from the French pharmacy, they gave us only a printed document with QR codes. We took backup photos. We also have both online and printed the UK PLF With QR code. Guess that will be enough to get us checked in for CDG>LHR>LAX.

Verifly is more for ease of transit? We just could not get it to work.

My husband spent hours on verify. It never worked for the way to Switzerland . No one in our gate area could get it to work, as we had a lot of time to talk to everyone .

It did work for our return tomorrow, but did take some time. When it asks "booking test number" we finally indicated " none" , as we weren't entering the UK, so didn't need to make the second- day test appt.

Good luck !

Verify is for ease of transport for the airlines, not the passengers!

We can’t get it to work. But we have all the hard copies and photos. What a pain.

Ok we tried one more time, it will take everything EXCEPT it will not accept the bar code or any sort of picture from the French pharmacy where we got our negative antigen tests yesterday. Any ideas?

Maybe-
It just needs to sit in "the system" a few days first, to marinate-
Not a reasonable explanation, but I have no idea why ours decided to work for the return flight.
Good luck!

We wee asked to see Verify at the gate to board the LHR to LAX flight. Without it, they wanted proof of covid testing and cdc cards. Safe travels!

So after much struggle we did get Verifly for the CDG to LHR leg. Never were able to for LHR to LAX. Didn’t matter at all at CDG, they didn’t care, they wanted to see every single document: passports, negative Covid tests, UK passenger locator forms and our US CDC cards all in hard copy form so glad we had printed that stuff out. Got boarding passes for both CDG>LHR and LHR>LAX. Then at LHR when we were boarding they wanted to see forms but they asked if we had Verifly, and they took the one we had been able to do for CDG>LAX. Otherwise we would’ve just had to produce the hard copies again. This was at the boarding gate only, the boarding passes for LHR>LAX got us through all other security gates at LHR. One thing we were glad we left the lounge early at LHR because we had to run thus huge gauntlet to get out to our flight on the C concourse that involved a subway ride and a bus and stairs up to the plane parked way out on the tarmac. Anyway for what it’s worth that was our experience.

Now up at 4:00 with jet lag!
