Leaving for Slovenia at the end of this month, trying to fill out the EU-PLF form and having trouble with my cell phone # on form

I filled it out last week with no issues. I think this was the form where the “country” had a pull-down search. Just enter “1” and scroll down until you see just the “1” with the USA flag. Then enter the rest of your phone number in the block to the right.
Tried what you suggested but it's not a "smart" input ie does not offer help with input just a dry text box input, get it right or you get an error

I had to put a +1 and then my phone number.
Also, I had to type US then choose the USA America that comes up in the window.. I think.
maybe try a different browser -- like Chrome or Safari or Firefox or (shudder) MSIE ?
Finally got it to work.
Selected the whole text box and cleared it out then +1414.....
