Per Portugal rules, we are (hopefully!) providing negative tests when we board Monday in the US. After 4 days in Lisbon, we fly to Madrid. Spain rules are confusing-- it's hard to tell if we need to provide another test before we leave Portugal. We don't have the EU certificate of course but since we will have already tested to arrive in an EU country, do we need to test again? Anyone else traveled between the 2 countries recently?
As I understand it, Portugal requires testing for all, Spain requires testing only for those who are not vaccinated. I visited Spain last month and only had to provide proof of vaccination. This form was required: https://www.sanidad.gob.es/en/profesionales/saludPublica/ccayes/alertasActual/nCov/spth.htm
The QR code was verified upon arrival.
No you dont. Spain does not require a negative test. Daughter just traveled Portugal to Spain so we researched first, and then she did it and no, you dont
