After a false start (claim lost in system) and a re-submittal received approval e-mail and notice that monies are on their way.
Wasn't expecting much but pleased that 85% of costs are to be reimbursed. Persistence and submittal of relevant receipts and such pays off.
Will certainly use same insurance group for future travel.

A-A, So glad to hear of your success negotiating through your travel insurance claim. Please let us know which travel insurance company and what type of claim(s) you made. There have been lots of posts over the past year asking for advice and experiences, so we all will appreciate the information.

I am assuming that the claim that is being discussed includes covid related expenses for this quarantine period as well as any other costs related to it.
