Rick paused his Monday Night Travel shows for August and announced that he would be in Europe most of the month. I have checked his blog and website for reports or updates, but have found nothing. Has anyone read or viewed anything from Rick about his current European travels? I assume he will have something to say on the first MNT show in September.

Seeing how things are currently going in Europe, I doubt he went through with his August travel plans to Europe.

He maybe isn't blogging about Europe but the 5-part series of journal excerpts from his 1978 "Hippie Trail" adventure from Mashhad, Iran to Herat, Afghanistan, onward to Kabul, and then into Pakistan is an interesting read.
Ugh, a COVID test would have been preferable to this:
