I would like to obtain recommendations for health insurance coverage in Europe and especially from people who had to file a claim. I have used GeoBlue but now they just notified me that they will not write policies for South Dakota residents. I am traveling to Romania and Bulgaria.

We use GeoBlue, but have read on this forum that Allianz is another good option.

Either Allianz or IMGlobal-both have settled claims within 14 days of required documentation.

We've had a couple of claims with TravelGuard and were well pleased with the response and reimbursment.

We have had four large claims ( up to $20,000)with Travel Guard
and all were paid in a relatively short time( a month.)
