Anyone know where to get a rapid test in Paris? We will be there about 1 1/2 days before return to US from longer trip elsewhere. Worried about the time to get a test as flight back to US leaves very early. Thanks
This question is asked a lot
First, you need only a quick antigen test for the US
and you have a 72-hour leeway before boarding. Second, free testing for everyone is set up at most pharmacies, train stations, and the airports.
You will see tons of tents outside pharmacies saying COVID TEST HERE. Heck there is even a Covid test tent on the plaza in front of Opera Garnier.
Just ask at your hotel where the nearest one is.
You will get your results back in 15 minutes after they swab you. Practically the longest thing is filling out the paper with your I.d. Information so they can print you your test result.
Kim, can you provide a price range for the tests you are seeing? I'm trying to decide if it makes sense to order the test available by mail.
New news today — in an interview that appeared this evening, the government spokesman said that foreign tourists, beginning July 7, will have to pay for their Covid tests:
49€ for a PCR test
29€ for an antigen test
