Questions for Canadians with Mixed Vaccines

Just wondering if anyone has traveled with mixed vaccines. I am a vaxed and booster. My first was Astra-Zenica and my second shot and booster were Pfizer. Has anyone encountered problems with this when heading to Europe. I am looking at Italy, Portgual and the UK. It sounds from what I have read that it should be fine but wonder if anyone has first hand experience. By the time I travel in the fall I may have a 4th shot as well if it is offered. I do not currently qualify for it. At the moment it is only for people who work in high risk settings and others who are high risk.

As well was your government issued QR code accepted. Mine is from Ontario if that makes a difference.

Thank You

I've got the same Vax mix as you. I can't find the link now, but I looked into this as well and was able to confirm I'll be OK in the U.K for my trip in June.

I haven't looked into Italy and Portugal.

Wendy, make sure you download the Canadian federal vaccine passport. That one will include your booster.
In BC we have the B/C passport which shows fully vaccinated with just 2 shots. I believe the provincial one won’t get you in Europe but I could be wrong.

FWIW we traveled with mixed vaccines (Astra - Moderna) from Ontario to France last October. No problem coming or going.

Last fall I travelled to Portugal from Toronto with exactly the same mix (printed out from Ontario government) and no official questioned it. At that time Portugal required a trip tracker but I don't know about now. Likewise Canada wanted warning on where you had been but at Toronto Pearson nobody glanced at the document which was difficult to down-load.

Thank you. It is good to hear first hand from people who have had experience. By the time I travel in Sept. I assume things will change many times.

I traveled to Paris last summer with one AZ and one Pfizer. Absolutely no problems whatsoever.

Another Canadian here. I understand that the QR Codes cannot be scanned in Europe - are people showing the pdf version on their phone that shows the QR Code and vaccines adminstered or are you carrying printed paper copies?
