There are varying interpretations for Portugal's entry requirement of a negative Covid test result... Depending on where you get the information... In some cases I read that the timing is the same as entry to the US... timing is determined by the scheduled departure time of the first leg of travel. But I also have read (my airline's Covid information page) that it is determined by the departure time of the final/direct flight into Portugal. This can make a big difference when planning. My test results show the exact time of my test... well within the 72 hours from my Chicago departure, but only 69 hours from my connecting flight from Paris to Lisbon! And an antigen test window is only 48 hours. A long layover or making 2 connections could make it difficult to schedule.
