I'm reading about more pressure to drop these requirements, plus the costly random tests upon arrival.
Vaccine mandates have been blamed for some of Pearson airport's chaos. Is it time to drop them?

Thanks for sharing this article. My husband and I will be in Toronto the week of July 4. I wonder if part of the holdup, besides staffing levels, is that many people have not downloaded the ArriveCan app and uploaded their vaccine information? I was just looking at the ArriveCan website the other day, and it did say that having that done before arrival will speed up the process.
Hi Kayla,
We flew back from France last October. Definitely do the ArriveCan a day in advance. It doesn't take a long time, but it was a bit fiddly for me. DH got his done in no time. For me, it was one of those times where it wouldn't work, so I left it for half a day, and when I returned to it it worked perfectly (I swear I was doing the exact same process). Maybe it was the sketchy hotel wifi. When we got to Pearson, they hardly glanced at it.
Please note the article says current requirements last for at least another month.
Yes, I saw that the requirements will still be in place when we are there. Oh well. We'll have everything uploaded and hope for the best.
