The USPS "lost" my 2-day mail to the Philadelphia passport center with my passport for review.
Even if they find it, there probably will not be enough time to have the center renew it [we are leaving in 6 weeks]
Does anyone know a reliable expeditor service that is cost effective especially since I do not need this renewal "overnight".
Thanks for the help.
How to Replace a Lost or Stolen Passport
To replace a lost or stolen passport, you must submit Form DS-11 in person.
If... Then...
You are in the United States and are traveling in 5-7 weeks or less You may be eligible to make an appointment to apply in person at a passport agency or center to replace your passport. To go to a passport agency or center, you must be traveling internationally in the next 5 business days.

It would seem you now have a 'lost' passport.
I know two good expeditor services but one is in San Jose, CA and the other is in New York City, although the one in NYC has locations all over the country. I don't know what you mean by cost-effective in this context. Both are quite good but I highly, higly recommend Peninsula Visa.

What joe said. I would add that you have to be traveling in a short amount of time before your appointment but you can schedule the appointment up to 2 weeks ahead. There’s a generic number to call that can tell you the closest in-person location to you and when they have an opening. But they can also tell you about the availability of appointments at any location in the U.S. and make you an appointment there (in case it is worth traveling somewhere else for). This info is from this week - but wasn’t me! Lol!

Oh, edit* you can fill out the fairly short form for a lost passport while you are at your appointment.
