When I signed up for my vaccine appointment back in January, I used the 'short' version of my name, not my legal name. It didn't occur to me at the time that this might become a problem. So my CDC card has my short name and my passport has my legal name. I will try and get this straightened out with the public health people. For those of you who have traveled to Europe, have you encountered any problems with this? "Pam" for "Pamela", "Kate" for "Katherine", etc. Do the names have to match exactly?
Secondly, does anyone else feel worried about the ever changing requirements? It's just so much rigamarole, with this kind of test or that kind of test, so many hours before crossing a border, etc.
I'd like to do the Holland and Belgium tour, but the requirements seem to be that crossing the border into The Netherlands will require another test.
