Italy travel rules update?

I would appreciate it if somebody could give me their two cents on the likelihood of Italy reinposing quarantine for americans in their next travel ordinance (will be issued next week), I’m fully vaccinated and supposed to fly out next weekend.

Thanks!!!

That helps, because flying thru Heathrow now mandates an Italian quarantine .
Safe travels- good luck!

I was asking if anyone thinks Italy will stop American tourists from entering within the next week. I know nobody has a crystal ball but I’m looking for reassurance lol

There are several sources stating the Italy has extended to covid emergency to Dec 31. I'll let you do your own research for peace of mind. Sorry

Gee, in 2 months we’re scheduled to be in Italy, having connected, airside, thru Heathrow. Hope things work out for us and you, ericgndella.

Italy will likely go with a modified version of the French approach: Vaccinated people, locals or visitors, are welcome and free to travel, enter restaurants, museums, etc.

Unvaccinated people in Italy will be in a self-imposed quarantine by choice, until they choose to be vaccinated.

I read points guy just about every day, and I’m not sure which article phread is referring to because I haven’t seen anything to the effect you would have trouble coming home. It’s possible I missed something they publish a lot so perhaps if you could link to that article it would help
