If you test positive while in UK, do you move on to next hotel?

Just thinking ahead. If I tested positive during my trip in UK, would I be able to move to next hotel etc. Also I guess they would need to bring food to the room while in hotel? Not sure what rules are in UK if you test positive . Then before flight home to US I have the Binax test from Delta link. Do the hotels allow you to stay there or move to a cheaper place.

There are no rules, no restrictions. If you test positive you should stay away from others in case they get COVID. But you don't have to. You don't need to tell anyone or any hotel.
