We obtained the Certificates inn October of 2021. When we got them we had the first two shots and a booster. We are traveling to France and Italy. Has France announced a change effective May 1? I understand that Italy has.
France no longer requires a Covid certificate. They dropped the Pass Vaccinal (which was after the Pass Sanitaire) March 14. They do not check your vax status for entry to restaurants, museums, etc.
Good to have with you, since they have the booster on them, they should still be valid, you just may not need to show them. If a pass is needed, then the QR code will be easier than the CDC card.
Pam is right -- you no longer need a Covid certificate in France.
Just bear in mind this could all change at a moment's notice, as we have seen many times. Make sure you always have your CDC card handy in case new restrictions suddenly come into effect. Have you noticed that every politician in Washington DC now seems to be catching COVID?
Thanks for the help!
