Has anyone quarantined in Greece recently?

Tested positive for Covid on April 11. Still positive this morning April 13. Started a claim with Travel Guard this morning. Waiting to find out how long I need to quarantine. If I don’t test negative tomorrow then I will need a letter of recovery. Won’t be able to fly home on April 15 as planned.
Stuck in Nafplio, Greece!
Any fellow travelers going through quarantine in Greece?

I am sorry to hear this, Gail. And I hope your case is very slight. I have no advice to offer you on this. Aren’t you on a RS tour? I thought RS and TravelGuard were supposed to be helping you figure this stuff out. Please keep us all apprised of how things are going for you.

OP has another thread where she said she tested negative on 4/11 and wondered whether to tell guide. Conditions have apparently changed.

Oh dear Gail! I had just asked about you on your previous post. So sorry! We did assume that Rick Steve’s tour people will be provided guidance and assistance. Hope that happens.. and this experience for you is not too difficult. Be well!

I hope your recovery is quick. Do you know the steps the tour guide took with the rest of the tour group?

Gail asking about others who have quarantined does not mean that she is not getting help and support where she is at. It does mean she is having an unexpected twist to her tour and it is a new experience for her.

@Carol Now Retired - Fair enough. I will rephrase my question.

Gail, are you getting assistance/guidance from RS tours and Travel Guard with respect to lodging, obtaining meals, retesting, letter of recovery and rebooking your flight. I know that you are expected to defray those costs on your own but I hope that you have not been cast adrift in a foreign country. For those of us with upcoming tours with RS, this info would be helpful and ease our jitters re: travel in the time of covid.

I had similar concerns for my upcoming tour and was relieved to see the most recent https://www.ricksteves.com/tours/on-the-road-reports has this information in the ‘Pandemic Bumps’ section, “… we remain in contact to ensure they're [tour member] well taken care of and have what they need to manage their quarantine and safely return home. We also offer a generous COVID refund policy if tour days are missed.”
