Experiences with Chase Sapphire Preferred travel protection for COVID-related travel snares?

Has anyone had any experience with Chase Sapphire Preferred travel protection for COVID-related travel expenses (e.g., especially testing positive and needing to extend your stay somewhere?)

I have the card and only used the insurance for damage to a rental car. I had to submit a claim and it was settled quickly. I am using the card to purchase trip related expenses in Spain this April. The trip cancellation/interruption coverage looks like it will meet my needs if I need to quarantine during the trip or as an extension. I would suggest reading the coverage details, not just the summary and call customer service if you have any questions. I am following this post as it would be good to hear the account of someone who had actually filed a COvid related claim.

There was a question earlier whether this Chase card also covers pre-existing conditions. I know this query is off-topic a bit, but just asking, as perhaps folks are trying to actually read this policy. Thx so much!

I haven't had to use the travel protections, but I did want to point out for anyone responding that there are different versions of travel protection provided by Chase depending on the type of card. This poster is asking about Preferred so if you answer about Reserve, it may not be as helpful.
