COVID vaccine and/or test requirements when DRIVING or TAKING TRAIN between EU countries

I have asked about this but wasn't sure my previous subject line underscored the importance of the question being about driving and trains. In past travels, I have never been stopped by border guards driving from, for example, Austria to Germany. We just drove through without anything special. Will we be stopped on borders and checked for COVID in the same manner as you would if you were flying? And what of trains? For example a train from Wien to Budapest? Will I need a PCR test before I get on the train??

Thanks!

We just arrived in France by train today from Germany. No questions asked except in Germany they wanted to see proof of vaccination at hotels and restaurants. We didn’t have to do that at our hotel or the restaurant we went to for dinner in Strasbourg.
