Covid self test kits

Heading to Europe for 21 days in July. Curious, if I should pack my Covid test kits in my checked bag or in my carry-on?
TIA

The rapid antigen tests that I have from several manufacturers all show an acceptable storage temperature range of 86F to 36F. Since you have no control or knowledge of where and how a checked bag is stored (I'm thinking sitting in the summer sun on a baggage cart, etc.), I'd transport mine in a carry-on bag if possible.

…But certainly one wants to know if he/she has Covid…just like at home. I will be making room in my personal item due to the temperature requirement and act accordingly.

We just returned from BOE14 and we packed both our proctored and self (pre-tour) covid tests in our carryons (we only took carryon) we weren't hassled about the little tube of liquid by TSA and did not need to remove it in Chicago or Paris airports. However, you can buy COVID tests at any pharmacy or drug store for less than 3 euros. You may want to just pick some up when you get there.
