Planning a trip to Ireland in the fall with an unvaccinated person and read awhile back that while unvaccinated people can enter the country freely, there may be restrictions on indoor activity, i.e, hotels, dining, museums etc. Does anyone have any up to date information on this, in particular anyone who has visited recently? Thanks in advance!
Here's the Irish government website with current advice about Covid. Of course conditions, advice, and rules might be different in the fall. I hope you and your friend will take appropriate precautions with masking and other measures, especially if your friend remains unvaccinated. Private businesses like hotels, pubs, and restaurants may have their own Covid-related restrictions.
Thank you. I did visit this website, but unfortunately it does not address any restrictions that may be in place once you have entered Ireland.
All COVID-19 restrictions have ended in Ireland.
You should self-isolate if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
You are advised to wear a face mask on public transport and in healthcare settings.
