Can't Upload COVID Documents on Lufthansa App or Website

Our first leg got rebooked to a Lufthansa flight. We need to upload our Vax card and a negative test for our flights. The Lufthansa app and website won't let us upload our documents. We just get an error message with no other context. Can we just print everything out and give it to them in person to check in?

Thanks

Hi we are flying Lufthansa in next month and I have not seen any requirement for us to have a negative test to fly with them. Is the negative test requirement due to your destination? You have me worried... I am so worried we are going to not have something we need and be denied boarding. Our destination does not require a negative test, only proof of vaccine.

same problem in December. Lufthansa's app and website are terrible - its sad for a huge airline and a German one at that.

anyways, a colleague was able to upload them and get checked in using a link in an email Luft sent a day or so before for check in (all other links don't work). i did not get this email, could not check in and had my business class seat changed thrice.

@iwith3kids Regarding the need for negative covid test, airlines are enforcing the destination country requirements - but please carefully read Lufthansa emails (many airlines have a template so even the emails sometimes are not accurate) for the need for covid test since stops and changing regulations and what not force the airlines to demand these things. its a royal mess. if your last vaccine is <270 days old, you should be golden (that is the requirement in most european countries). i suggest you book/block a rapid-antigen covid test (they are free to book and cancel) and cancel them if you are sure you don't need them

We had trouble with the Lufthansa app yesterday. We didn't get any farther than passport information. The photo upload went OK but we were unable to save the page once it was completed.
Our documents are on the United app, and since we have flight codes for both Sky Alliance partners we are hopeful that we've done what is necessary.

I'm having problems as well. Our flight is Friday and I tried uploading documents yesterday (72 hours before the flight as advised). Repeated tries with no luck. I'd be happy with printing everything out and going to the airport a little early, but I hate risking it if they're going to have a problem with it not being online. I'll be transferring in Frankfurt and changing planes for France. I'm open to advice or suggestions.

Took our hard copies to the airport in Atlanta and again in Milan for Italy trip 2 weeks ago. Apps never worked for us. Check-in at airports absolutely no issues. Looked at our folder of stuff, issued boarding passes.

May 8, 2022. UPDATE. After many fails, I tried again, hours later, this time using the small link on the right of "Booking Details" for our trip at the Lufthansa web page, not the app. The link reads, in tiny type, "→ Digital Covid-Document Check." Glorioski, it worked. I heard back via email within two minutes that the documentation was accepted and we are free to travel. Good luck, I hope this helps you.

I just did the digital document check-in and it was a breeze. Submitted my documents yesterday afternoon, immediately got a reply that the documents had been successful uploaded, and this morning, about 2:00 am, I got another email stating they had been approved.

I used the website rather than the app because, with my poor, old eyes, it is easier to navigate and enter data.

One thing to remember, dates should be entered day, month, year. With my husband's birthdate it is easy because the day is 31 and you get an error if you enter it incorrectly. My birth day is 4. I did mine first and submitted it. When I did his and saw the format, I immediately questioned how I entered mine. It was accepted so if there is a further issue I can show my card and id at the airport.
