At-home covid test vs a pharmacy in Salzburg

I would like to get some opinions from the Rick Steves travel community. I'm scheduled for the My Way Alpine tour in September. Would it be easier to bring my own covid test from home or just find a pharmacy in Salzburg to take the test? When I was in Paris this past May, finding a pharmacy and taking the covid test to return home was very easy. Are pharmacies just as common in Salzburg and do they still offer covid tests?
If it's recommended that I bring my own covid test from home, does anyone recommend a certain brand that is small and packable and extremely easy to take? Any certain brand names?
Thank you in advance for your input.
Steve

We were on the 20 June My Way Alpine Tour and brought the iHealth rapid tests with us because they came on a small box. They worked well.

My granddaughter and I just finished the family tour. I brought with me the test that were free from the US government, and I did not bring the box. They were just fine for documenting that we were covered free prior to the beginning of our trip. The only ones you must absolutely leave in the box sealed are the ones that are proctored tests, with someone watching you online take the test. That is not necessary for the Rick steves tour tests.
