Annual travel insurance Washington state

I want to buy an annual policy, mainly for evacuation insurance but other coverages are helpful too. I've had good service from Allianz but their special endorsement for Covid coverage is not available in the state of Washington. I want to know I could be flown home if I needed a higher level of care for Covid. Any advice for me? Thank you.

Washington State law is very protective of consumers when it comes to insurance. I have noticed that some Allianz policies are simply not available to Washington residents, presumably because they do not meet state law requirements.

I use Squaremouth or InsureMYTrip to find suitable trip insurance for our needs, but have never looked for an annual policy through them. We did buy an annual MedJet policy in a year when we were going to Patagonia and then Slovenia in separate trips 6 months apart, to supplement our regular trip insurance if evacuation was necessary. We did not need it, and now that my husband is over 75 MedJet requires a medical exam to get coverage. So we just buy regular travel insurance (trip by trip, not annual) and get one with a high allowance for evacuation. I have not seen any exclusions for covid19 medical coverage in these policies. (Some do exclude trip cancellation coverage for covid; that is fairly standard for pandemics).
