Hi--we are traveling to Scotland from the US and having trouble figuring out logistics for the 2nd day test. We are moving around starting the first day, so don't feel confident about having the test arrive at the right time/day. Strong preference in having the test mailed to us in the US before we travel. Has anyone dealt with this yet? Similarly, for the negative test for arrivals, has anyone had issues using a US test in entering the UK? Thanks for any insight.
The day 0-2 test must be posted to a UK address.
Alternatively, it can be done in person at your arrival airport - there will be details on the airport website. That's probably the best if you are moving around a lot and it means you can get it over and done with on your arrival day. It's a PCR test and must be booked with a UK provider before you travel to the UK.
Thanks. It appears that the Glasgow airport does not provide that service. I did find one provider that will send a lit to the US, but they have a lot of bad reviews. I'll see if there is a site in Glasgow that we can do in-person on our way out. Appreciate the reply.
