I'm mulling over Morocco. I've reached out to a few companies but wondering if anyone here has a specific endorsement for a company they used. I'm not looking for group tours - just private. Thanks:)
We used Desert Majesty. They picked us up in Marrakech, and returned us there as well, although you could make other arrangements, as they were very good about working with us for a custom itinerary over several days. We had a private driver who also served as a guide, and two of our lunches were at Berber families’ homes. For the desert portion of our tour, we opted for their upgraded accommodations, which provided a heated tent (it was cold in January) and en-suite toilet, rather than having to cross outside to reach the facilities.
Our accommodations in both Marrakech and Fes arranged for private guides in and around those cities.
Here’s the posting from a year ago on this Travel Forum, which includes more about our experience:

I’ll reiterate that we spoke with another couple twice, who used a different company (no idea of its name), and they said their guide steered them from one high-pressure shopping point to another. That’s not what they were looking for, but they assumed he got a commission on every sale he steered to the shops, and that seemed to be his primary motivation. Our guide, Abdulech, was there to show us his country, not to shill for sellers. We did but a carpet, but had planned to do so before we ever reached Morocco, and our guide was able to get us to a great dealer at our request.
