Bruges hotel and dinner option

My wife and I will arrive in Bruges around 6-7 pm on a Monday. I am looking for hotel recommendation as well as a recommendation for a nice restaurant for an anniversary dinner. I am mid-tier on the budget for both. TIA!

Hi Stephen,
My husband and I just returned from the RS Belgium/Holland tour at the end of April. I had read about a wonderful B&B that was recommended here in the forums in this thread:

We landed in Brussels then took a car to the Canal Deluxe in Bruges. Other than the long immigration line, the process was easy and I could not have been happier with a wonderful place to start our adventure. My only regret is that we didn't stay there longer.

There was literally nothing that the inn keepers had not thought of. It was SO peaceful and comfortable. We booked the night before so we could get in right away and enjoy the breakfast upon arrival. I recommend it highly! Yes, the RS tour starts in Ghent but the strong recommendation had us determined to try this place so afterwards, we made our way to the beginning of our tour and returned to Bruges with the group a few days later. We stayed in Hotel Adornes with the RS group. It was fine but nothing as wonderful as Canal Deluxe!

Hi! For your Bruges anniversary, here are my top picks:

For the hotels
Canal Deluxe B&B, Canal views, fireplace, amazing breakfast. Books fast, reserve ASAP.

Hotel Navarra, Pool, sauna, jazz bar, central location.

Hotel Jan Brito historic charm + free spa access.

For the restaurants
Au Petit Grand, Romantic, great steaks & seafood.

Bij Koen & Marijke, Cozy owner-run, wood-fired grill.

De Stove, Tiny, outstanding Belgian-French.

Happy anniversary!
