Vienna 3 days in May

We are a family of 3 (includes a 12 year old girl) and we will be in Vienna from 10th to 14th May
Of the 3 full days, we will use one for a tour to Bratislava. We were looking for ideas for the remaining two days

I was thinking one full day dedicated to Vienna sightseeing. Actually we reach Vienna on 10th afternoon, so we have that half day also. So 1 and half days in Vienna should be good enough, I guess
I am looking for suggestions for any day trip out of Vienna for about half a day or so. Some place within 2 hours by train, small village countryside, lakes, etc ??

I suggest staying in Vienna. My sister and I just spent 9 nights in Vienna. There’s more than enough to you keep you busy for a few days. My trip report might give you some ideas:

If I had three full days in Vienna, I would spend my entire time in Vienna and not include day trips. Go to: https://www.ricksteves.com/europe/austria/vienna and scroll down to the At a Glance line and click on the + on the right.

Located in Stadtpark (City Garden) there is the Genussfestival (relish festival). More than 100 stands from all parts of Austria present their typical cuisine, local products, food and beverages for tasting or taking away. Free entry.

Mariahilfer Straße is Vienna's main shopping street. One of its major side streets, Neubaugasse, is turned into a lively market with 100+ stands, for shopping, food, drinks, live music and entertainment.

If you like horses and dressage, the Spanish Riding School has pricey performances scheduled 5/10 and 5/11. There's also a guided stable tour in English and tickets to observe a training session. https://www.srs.at/en/tickets/performance#tickets.
